Commentary by Kevin McShane

Like I said earlier, for my first semester at Oberlin I was completely obsessed with Campus Dining Service (CDS). Especially the fact that they had soft-serve ice cream machines in every dining hall. As a big fan of on-demand soft-serve, I honed my cone-making skills to a fine razor’s edge. Hence, “Ye Old Ice Cream Knife.”

I like this strip because it sets up the relationship between Toupy and Teeter pretty succinctly.
