Retailers can reorder the first issue of Toupydoops by asking for Diamond Item #JAN063131.
Despite rampant confusion, Lobrau Productions assures consumers and retailers that Toupydoops #1 is still available for reorder from Diamond Comics Distrubutors. Retailers can reorder the first issue of the new series by asking for Diamond Item #JAN063131.
With Toupydoops #2 on shelves this week, a number of new fans and savvy retailers find themselves wanting to get in on the Toupydoops phenomenon on the ground floor. However, when inquiring with Diamond Comics Distributors about the availabilty of issue #1, several retailers have found the book listed as “unavailable.”
“That just means that Diamond doesn’t have any stock on hand,” says Toupydoops writer/artist Kevin McShane. “Our Diamond Rep assures me that all new reorders for Toupy #1 will be honored and eventually processed.”
“Believe me,” McShane adds, “we still have plenty of copies of issue #1. Just hanging out. Taking up space in my apartment.”
